Overview

Westwell WI was formed 1918 and is part of the largest voluntary organisation for women in the UK. Nationally there are over 6500 WIs with 220,000 members. We play a role in providing women with opportunities for education and developing new skills and for making new friends. We take part in a wide variety of activities and campaign on issues which relate to local communities and also the wider national population.

Westwell WI is part of the Smarden group which includes the Bethersden, Egerton and Smarden WIs and we are in the East Kent Federation. You would be most welcome to come along to one of our meetings and see if it is for you.
